Police arrested Greene, a schoolteacher, earlier this year on criminal charges involving the two brothers who have accused him in civil lawsuits of abusing them when they were boys. Greene has pleaded innocent to the criminal charges and his teaching contract at Our Lady of Lourdes School was not renewed. The abuse alleged in both the civil and criminal cases involves the time when Greene taught at Ascension School.

DATE AND LOCATION OF ALLEGED ABUSE: 1974 and 1975, Greene's home, Greene's father's farm, Rough River.
ACCUSATION: Fondling, masturbation, oral sex, sodomy
DETAILS OF ALLEGATION: Between the ages of 14 and 16, Davis said he was struggling in school and that Greene said if the boy came to his apartment for tutoring that he would pass Davis. When Davis was ready to leave one night, he said Greene fondled and masturbated him. Davis said Greene also gave him beer and marijuana. Once they went to Greene's father's farm and Davis said he became drunk and passed out on the hood of Greene's car. Davis said when he woke up Greene was performing oral sex on him. Similar behavior took place during a Rough River camping outing. Davis also said he was sodomized by Greene at the teacher's home or at the farm.
